Support Cut Charts for older style Hyperthem Consumables, rather than just the Sync or Cartidge Adaptor. There is still a lot of people running those machines.
It would be great if we could import the data from a Sheetcam Toolset or a .csv file exported from Sheetcam.
+1 to the Sheetcam toolset import idea here. I was fortunate to buy an older-style machine just before they stopped selling them in favor of the ripoff-priced Sync cartridge system.
Hello Mathew,
I'm a little confused, The Cartridge Adapter selection is the old consumable set from Hypertherm. Those are the Pre "Sync" consumables with the nozzle, electrode, shield, etc
I actually only use these in my shop. I've never used the SYNC cartridges before.
I am working on rich SheetCAM import support. Currently you CAN import SOME SheetCAM jobs, the feature is experimental (It tells you when you import a .job file). I'm planning to nail that down next month hopefully. SheetCAM's job files are proprietary and I've begun digging into them (no documentation exists) to get what I have working currently. Right now I just need to keep collecting more job files from other users, they're sort of messy, lots of differences between jobs that are hard to nail down. I also plan to add import features for tool sets but it's not on my immediate todo list.
The Hypertherm cut charts where built directly from Hypertherms own literature. Keep in mind that you can edit the cut chart recipes to make small changes to them that yield better results on your specific machine. They're sort of a starting point

I'm working on getting as many factory machine posts ready to ship with the releases as possible. It would be much appreciated if you could file a new thread here with the machine (Make & Model) you have. Also helpful if you could upload the current SheetCAM post file you use and some Gcode that was posted from SheetCAM as attachments. Most SheetCAM posts should be converting via the AI Converter so you may already be up and running but that does not always work well for more complicated posts. If the Converter did a good job for you and you're up and running just fine now, I would appreciate it if you could attach the JetCad3 post result from the conversion so I can add it to the releases going forward.
Thanks
OK, I'll give it a try. When it said Cartridge Adaptor I thought it meant this. Might want to change the wording to something like Standard Consumables?
Yeah, I see where that's confusing. I was originally going to call the original style consumables "Standard Consumables" but Hypertherm's new literature is now referring to SYNC as their "Standard" consumables and they are referring to the old Duramax style consumables as "Cartridge Adapter" on those respective charts. It is very confusing especially now that I see your screen shot. I think "Standard Consumables" does make more sense though.
