How JetCad, LLC collects, uses, and protects your information when you use JetCad3.

This Privacy Policy describes how JetCad, LLC ("JetCad," "we," "us," or "our"), a Michigan limited liability company, collects, uses, and shares information when you use JetCad3 software and the jetcad.io website (collectively, the "Service"). Please read it carefully.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
Account information. When you create a JetCad3 account, we collect your name, email address, and a password credential. Authentication is managed by Clerk, Inc. (see Section 3).
Billing and payment information. When you purchase a subscription or physical product, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details — those are handled entirely by Stripe. We do store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and transaction history to manage your account and fulfill orders.
Order information. For physical goods purchases, we collect your shipping name, address, and order details. This information is used solely to fulfill and ship your order.
Communications. If you contact us by email or through the community forum, we retain that correspondence.
Profile and settings. We store your in-app preferences and settings (such as preferred units and theme) associated with your account.
Cloud storage connections. If you connect Google Drive or OneDrive to JetCad3 for cloud file storage, we store an encrypted OAuth token that allows the desktop application to access your connected storage account on your behalf. We do not access, read, or store the contents of your cloud storage — the connection is used exclusively by the desktop application at your direction.
Usage and analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use jetcad.io, including pages visited, time on page, approximate geographic region, and referring URLs. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Page views. We maintain an internal log of page views on jetcad.io, recording the URL path, approximate country, and referrer. This data is not linked to individual user accounts and is used for aggregate traffic analysis.
Download logs. When you download the JetCad3 desktop application, we log the platform (Mac/Windows/Linux), version, approximate country, and — if you are signed in — your user ID. This helps us understand adoption across platforms.
Log data. Our servers automatically record standard log data including IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps. Logs are retained for 30 days for security and debugging purposes and are then deleted.
Cookies and local storage. We use cookies and browser local storage for authentication sessions (managed by Clerk) and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.

Our servers are hosted on a Virtual Private Server (VPS). Database backups are stored securely and encrypted at rest.
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (for example, Stripe transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by tax regulations).
Order records and associated shipping information are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
Page view logs and server logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive credentials, and access controls limiting who within JetCad can access production data. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at admin@jetcad.io and we will delete it promptly.
Purchases and paid subscriptions require the ability to enter into a legally binding contract. In most U.S. states this requires being 18 years of age or older.
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, additional rights apply to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

JetCad, LLC is the data controller for purposes of GDPR. We do not have a formal EU representative appointed at this time. If you have concerns that we have not adequately addressed, you have the right to contact your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will send an email notification to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
