File Picker window suggestions for usability

I'd enjoy if the file picker dialog would allow you to type to select folder / file names. This is so much faster than finding files / folders via scrolling and mouse click. Current behavior is that typing results in some kind of program shortcuts popup in JetCAD3, rather than expected behavior of jumping to folder with first chars of name matching the characters entered on keyboard.

The icon for folders is a little confusing visually, as it looks like a mapped network drive icon rather than a folder icon.
