Thanks for the request — this was a good one, and honestly something I'd never thought to build. It's done and will be in the next release, v2.5.1.
Here's what it does. JetCad3 now tracks consumable wear on plasma and oxyfuel machines: every pierce, every second of arc-on time, and every inch of cut distance — from program runs and manual test fires alike, read from the torch signal itself. That accumulates against a life limit per wear item, shown as a small health meter you can drag anywhere over the machine view. Green up to 70% of rated life, yellow past that, red past 90% — and when you change consumables you hit Reset, just like an oil-change reminder in a truck.
To see it: open your machine in GcodePilot and turn on View → Show Consumable Tracker. Collapsed, it shows one bar for your most-worn item; expand it and you get every item with its own meter and reset. A SYNC machine gets a single Cartridge meter; a standard torch gets Electrode, Nozzle and Shield; oxyfuel gets Cutting tip and Preheat tip — and the list is editable, so you can add an ohmic ring or swirl ring if you track those too.
The limits start at Hypertherm's published figures (800 pierces, 2 hours of arc-on time), but your air, material and amps decide the real number — so every reset logs what that set of consumables actually lasted, and the settings dialog shows your recent sets with a one-button "use my average as the limit." After a few changes it's predicting your shop, not a brochure.
v2.5.1 is close. Let me know how it works out on your table once it lands.
